Here are some photos from our trip to London 🙂
Here are three new products to incorporate into your skincare regime this Spring!
Personalized samples and products are bringing a jolt of new life to the online fashion, beauty and skincare industries.
Function of Beauty is no exception. You may have even seen one of their ads on Facebook or Instagram recently.
They are a hair care brand that manufactures personalized shampoo + conditioner based on each customer’s hair profile.
Interested? I was..
So, the first thing I did was create my own profile that included basic information about my hair as well my “hair goals”.
These are the steps I followed:
I’ve oogled and ogled designer fashion for most of my formative years. I’ve spent years flipping through Vogue magazines and running my fingers through racks of clothing in stores where I could, at most, buy a fashion keychain.

I joined a webinar yesterday about lifestyle and fashion blogging. It was led by the awesome Marina de Giovanni & it gave me a lot of good ideas! First, I need to appeal to a more targeted audience. So, I’ve decided to curate my content towards Stationary & gift lovers. Like I need more of a reason to spend time in Papersource. Eventually I can expand my brand into other subjects I am passionate about but right now I think my content is too scattered.
Here’s to creating the ultimate stationary and gift guide! #thenewnostalgia
A lot of companies have made social media extensions of their brand a priority in the last decade, but oftentimes they fall by the wayside. Prospective clients or career seeking professionals will investigate into your company and rely on social media to communicate relevant information regarding its viability. When they see that those profiles haven’t been updated in over a year, that comments haven’t been acknowledged and the amount of content available in total does little to convey important information, they start to reel in doubt.
As a society we rely on instant communication and consistent validation that a brand is continuing to grow. When you manage your profiles and continuously update their content it simulates that personal connection and reassurance we find in face to face business. You are present and you are building trust with your clients, employees and future first impressions. This all stems from a strong social media presence.
Make time to manage all of your social media profiles. Not only does it increase your presence on multiple platforms, but it also sustains a healthy relationship between you and the traffic on your profiles, which can evolve into lasting professional relationships.
I got to have breakfast with my grandma Dorothy yesterday and also see my best friend, Vicky. My grandma is doing well. She is still taking classes at the local community college and is apart of a quilting group. She’ll be starting a class soon on the founding fathers; after that is a course on eastern European countries, I think, and then later on she’ll take one about Murder Mysteries (she loves mystery novels so I know she’s really excited). I am a little worried because she told me she was having dizzy spells but thankfully not while she’s driving. I told my parents when I got home and hopefully they can talk her into seeing the doctor. I found out Vicky actually lives like 3 minutes away from where I work, which is awesome since we normally don’t see each other that often. The universe was looking out.
